Fees & Insurance

We understand how important it is to feel informed and respected throughout your therapeutic process. You remain in control of deciding whether counseling is right for you.

We’ve thoughtfully considered the questions you may have about the financial commitment, so you do not have to search for answers or feel guarded about what might be left unsaid.

Below, you will find clear information about our fees, insurance, payment options, and what to expect before getting started.

Decision Clarity Sessions

This experience provides focused therapeutic support when you are facing one significant decision and fear, guilt, obligation, or self-doubt is making it difficult to determine what comes next.
Ongoing sessions are not required after this session.
90 minutes: $450

Do You Accept Insurance?

Flourishing Hope is a private-pay counseling practice and does not accept insurance.
Private-pay counseling lets your treatment be guided by your specific needs rather than an insurance company’s requirements for diagnosis, session approval, or treatment length.

We do not submit claims to insurance companies or communicate with them on your behalf.

Can I Use Out-of-Network Benefits?

Some insurance plans include out-of-network mental health benefits that may reimburse a portion of your counseling fees.

Benefits vary significantly between plans, and reimbursement is not guaranteed.
Before beginning counseling, contact your insurance company and ask:

  • Does my plan include out-of-network mental health benefits?
  • Is telehealth counseling covered?
  • What percentage or amount will I be reimbursed?
  • What documentation will I need to submit?
  • Is preauthorization required?

You are responsible for confirming your benefits, submitting any necessary documentation, and pursuing reimbursement directly through your insurance company.

What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?

We accept all major credit cards, including Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account cards. A valid payment method must be kept securely on file. Payment is due at the time services are provided.

Do You Offer a Sliding Scale?

Flourishing Hope does not offer reduced-fee or sliding-scale counseling.

We understand that private-pay therapy is a meaningful financial investment. Providing our fees clearly allows you to consider that investment before scheduling and decide whether our services fit your present needs and resources.

How Often Will I Attend Counseling?

Frequency of counseling depends on your unique needs, goals, and treatment plan.

Some clients begin with weekly sessions, while others may attend biweekly or at another clinically appropriate frequency. You and your therapist will discuss the recommended schedule together.

Will I Be Required to Continue Counseling?

No. Scheduling a consultation or initial session does not commit you to ongoing counseling.
If you begin therapy, you and your therapist will continue evaluating your goals, progress, and the level of support that is most appropriate for you.

Is Private-Pay Counseling Right for Me?

Private-pay counseling may be a good fit if you:

  • Want specialized support for narcissistic abuse, trauma, betrayal, grief, or rebuilding self-trust
  • Prefer treatment decisions to remain between you and your therapist
  • Value privacy, individualized care, and focused clinical expertise
  • Want to choose your therapist based on fit and specialization

The right counseling relationship is both a personal and financial decision.
If specialized, private-pay counseling feels aligned with what you need, your next step is to schedule a consultation.

Take the Next Step With a Consultation

You do not have to decide everything about therapy today. Begin with a consultation to share what you need, ask your questions, and determine whether Flourishing Hope is right for you. You decide what comes next.
